Ugh, these gaps in the blog are starting to get to me. I've *really* gotta get over this, and post more often...

I decided to try something. See how long I can stay inside of Mac OS X.1 (pronounced "ten point one", not "X point one", dangnabbit!) without booting back into OS 9. It's already been about two days, and I'll post every day what I did, and why I didn't have to boot back into 9.
Today, on the machine, I:
-Read webcomics. (www.pvponline.com , hope issue 3 arrives here soon...)
-Played Sacrifice (ok, if you don't have this game, go buy it. NOW. It's even more addicting than EverCrack)
-Typed a bit.
-Talked on IRC.
Everything I did today, I did in X, without booting back into 9. So, yay. Let's start the count at three days, shall we?
Oh, and to wrap up the last post, yes, obviously the computer came in time.

Well, another week, another gap in the blog. Whoops.

Finally found out when my college move-in day is. I found it out about a half-week ago that it's the 19'th, or more accurately, 5 days from now. So, Thursday's my last day at work, will have two free days, and I get to move in on Sunday. Whoopie.

Hopefully the hardware will come by then. I finally convinced the parents to order me a new G4 (although ended up getting the bottom-of-the-barrel one, but it's better than nothing...or a Performa 575...), and hopefully it'll come before then, since I've got a tracking number for it, but no estimated arrival date. The monitor's come already, and the speakers & printer's supposed to be coming today.

That's all I can think of right now, maybe I'll think of something later.

(GRR, damnit! Have to write this whole post again, since I tried to re-size the compizition window in Blogger. Damnit.)

Must remember ot post more often, this was too big of a gap in posts.

Could't connect to the net in the last few days. Had trouble with the local phone company, and a bunch of other stuff. It would connect, but everything would load at about 0.000000000001 k/bps. It sucked hard.

Work's been fun lately, especially the possessed cash register. It was acting like it was scanning items even though there was NOTHING even close to the scanning bed-area-thingie. Funny as hell, even moreso when I think it crashed. YEAH!

::breaks out his victory dance since he crashed something that he didn't think was possible of crashing::

Had to cover a stockman's lunch break at work today. And of course, I had no f***'ing clue what the hell I was doing, so I pretty much freewheeled for about 15 or so minutes, helped get a bike down for someone, then I went out and brought in carts.

Such job satisfaction, eh? Thank god it was only for a hour, and my whole shift was only about 4-5 hours.

Finally got to see Farscape again (on the SciFi channel). It was a season opener, and I must say, DAMN! No wonder I missed this show, and was always disturbed when I missed a episode.

Also got to see the new show, "The Chronicle" which debuted tonight. I, personally, enjoyed it. It's kinda like a "Reverse-MIB", where instead of trying to cover-up alien activity, they write about it in the next issue of their 'tabloid', which has only true stories. This series seems to have promise, since First Wave's going to be on it's final season.

Got to see some of the new seasion of Battlebots (3.0) and super-props out to Nightmare's team for that hit. WOW, damn, I'd hate to be the guy who has to clean the 'box up after fights. ;-)

I'll get those session notes up next time I get around to it, I've been busy with both work and this damn review I'm writing for IMG.

Later folks.

Damn, work sucks. We were SUPER-Hardcore busy tonight, and dontchaknow, we were understaffed.

http://www.bungie.org/shirt/

I want one. Guess I'll get the money order tomorrow at work.

I'll finish up with what happened at the last session and what happened last night's session tomorrow, I"m frickin' exhausted.

Oh yeah, the new version of Urban Terror (http://www.urbanterror.net) kicks ass. Play it. NOW.

*passes out from exhaustion*

www.majestic.ea.com

It's already f***'ing with my head, and it hasn't even started yet. ;-)

On to "OMG, We-Got-the-Sh*t-Kicked-Outta-Us-in-D&D-News" (although it's a bit late, been saving up for a good post. The Psion ended up dying (because of 'posion' but really because he wanted to switch to a wizard). The note was pretty much a warning that she knows who we were working for, that she could've killed us at any time, stay away, only warning, etc, etc... So, we went back to The Man, and told him what happened. He didn't seem too pleased, but he gave us a day to rest and told us to come back the next night, since he would have more information on the other guy we're supposed to whack. Everyone went their seperate ways for the day. Me, I hit a small bar and Perform'd for a hour or two, made around 20 gc, then slept for the day to get my spells back.

So, on to the night. The Man gave us a map of the boat where the guy supposedly lives. We head over there, and there's a guard guarding the entrance ramp. I talk to him a little bit, find out what's going on, and then the Barbarian gets bored, whacks the guy in the chest with his axe, and runs up ahead. So much for surprise. The ranger and the wizard (who's polymorphed into a Troll, I believe) run up ahead, while I grab our cleric NPC, Bob (who worships the "God of Accounting") and run after them. By the time I drab Bob in the ship, they've already killed three more sailors (although one DID crit on the Barb, still wondering how the *hell* that happened). We moved on to the next part of the ship, and in this large cellar-room-thing, we see The Man standing there next to a big metal chair.. WHAT THE HELL?! He says that he thinks we would just screw up the other assasination attempt, and that he should just get rid of us so we can't talk. So, he turns around, smacks a button by the chair, and gate's out.

If I didn't mention this before, we're in a world called "Spell-Jammer", which has a bit o' Sci-Fi in it. The world we were on is like the central "hub" and the other planes circle around it, kinda like rings around a planet. On the main world, there's these ships that can travel between the worlds piloted by a wizard. Guess what? We're in one of those ships. D'OH! So, we sit back, and enjoy the ride, since there was nothing we could do to stop the process. I'll finish up the transcript of the session in another post, this one's getting kinda long.

Work still sucks. Had a accident today with a bag of bird seed and the corner of the scanner, namely the bag caught the corner and ripped open all over the conveyor belt. Fun. I scooped most of it that spilled up and tossed it in the trash can, but the rest I just let the conveyor pull through. Hell, I'm lazy, and those damn 10-7 shifts are startin' to bug me. At least I've got a day off comin' up... ::insert cheering sound here::
